Even though Bristol is not shown on the map below, the fact remains that it is still an important city. It lies just to the east of Cardiff, on the other side of the Severn. There are two motorway bridges across the Bristol Channel to allow Welsh people free access to the city.
It is worthwhile reflecting on the fact that that John Wesley travelled over much of the area depicted on the map; and beyond; and that he used the fastest means of transport available. It is fitting that there remain several establishments in Bristol devoted to furthering the teaching that he initiated. The most important are:
