From Ring Road
The easiest route to follow from outside Bristol to Potters Wood is via the Ring Road, the A4174. This links up with the A38 from Gloucester, the M32 motorway, the A432 from Chipping Sodbury, the A420 from Chippenham, the A4 from Bath, the A4175 from Keynsham, and the A37 from Shepton Mallet.
At the junction of the A4170 and the A420, take the A420 towards Kingswood and Bristol Centre.
At the top of the hill, you will meet a set of traffic lights, and will be directed to turn left.
After 50 yards, you will meet a roundabout. Go straight over this roundabout, following the B4046 towards Hanham. This is the Hanham Road.
Pass two left turnings, and pass the Catholic Church on the left. Take the next left, down Court Road.
After 70 yards, take the first left, down Pows Road. This is a one-way street. Potters Wood Church is on the left hand side. There is parking space for four or five cars inside the gate.
From Bristol
Take the A420 towards Kingswood and Chippenham.
After about 2 miles, take the left fork, continuing along the A420.
After about 2 miles, you will reach Kingswood town centre. This is a one-way street. After passing the shopping centre, you will reach a final set of traffic lights. Take a right turn at these lights, down the B4046 towards Hanham.
After 50 yards, you will meet a roundabout. Go straight over this roundabout, following the B4046 towards Hanham. Follow the same directions as above.
